I had my first Mongolian BBQ experience last night. That is a very neat place and I ate too much which I haven't done in a long while. Afterward Dave H. (that's Dave #2 for Laura and Kelli who have chosen to designate him that way) and I had to roll ourselves back to his place. I ended up wearing my ostrich - does anyone know what gets ostrich out? :) Then we ended up taking in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Very amusing film. The dolphins' song was the best!

mmmmm.... mongolian bbq. mmmmm.... it doesn't help that I'm already having cravings for all sorts of bad things. they're only "bad" because they're not at home, and we can't eat out. humph.

Mmmm... Mongolian BBQ. Doubly as good because they let you take food home with you.

Robyn, I know what you mean! It seems that eating out is the luxury I had once, but have forgotten what it actually is like! The other day, Nolan's mom took us out to eat (I call it penance), and I think the last time we did that was Christmas, when we were up at Birch Run to scope out the outlet bookstores (I'm a traitor!), and I told Nolan "Either you take me to Tony's, or you'll sleep on the couch!"
Isn't it a sad existence when a truck stop excites you to the core of your being?
Oh yeah, screw those Mongoloids at the BBQ, they didn't hire me! They get none of my corporate four cent raise!

LOL - I could only afford it myself because Dave had just gotten paid and he offered to treat. I never turn down free food - sometimes I should, but I never do. ;)

Well, it's not like Tony's is just ANY truck stop - it's the grand pombah of truck stops. Now, I'm really craving a huge pile of bacon...mmmmm. *drool*

we were "good." we ate at home. *sigh* I was thinking all about ordering pizza, but no. yeesh, and I can't even really remember what we did have. brats and dogs? maybe. then I went to a bar for a friend's birthday and had a glass of water.

Sounds like a good time. I want to see that movie. I've heard nothing but good things and the first book is good.
