...and apparently I'm addicted to sandals. I have about 8 pair and I just can't seem to make myself get rid of any of them. I mean who actually needs that many pairs of sandals? Well, apparently I do. ;) I'm trying to work up the courage to get rid of the blue pair that dye my feet blue when I wear them...because, well, they dye my feet blue when I wear them. But blue is such a pretty color...

Edit - Well, I did it. I got rid of 8 pairs of shoes, including 2 pairs of sandals - but not the ones that turn my feet blue. Couldn't bring myself to get rid of those - they're so pretty. :) This is a truly monumental event. I am now down to 17 pairs of shoes - well, 18 if you count my tap shoes, but do those really count?

Edit # 2 - Darn it - found another pair of shoes hiding in the closet. Can't get rid of them either since they're the only pair of black sandals I have. That means I'm up to 18 pair, 19 if I count the tap shoes. Why again do I need so many sandals when I live in Michigan and can't wear them half the year? I didn't realize I was so fond of sandals. See, I'm learning new things about myself everyday. ;)

I understand... everytime I try to get rid of excess clothes I find myself back at Goodwill purchasing clothes of a new style, and I'm right back where I was. It's frustrating, and I don't know if I should just accept that I'll never be satisfied with my current wardrobe (or at least always want to expand it), or if I should give it the energy and effort of restraint necesary to resist buying new stuff. At this point I'm still trying to fight back my tendencies...
