Jul. 13th, 2004 12:19 pmWell, I'm all caught up on reading now. Whew, that took a while.
aprilia27 - sorry I missed your birthday.
jesterstear - sorry I missed your most recent life crisis.
I rented 4 movies this past weekend: Tomb Raider:Cradle of Life, How to Deal, Intolerable Cruelty, and Timeline. All were decent, none were must sees.
Timeline was not 100% believable to me, but still a decent story line and some fine eye candy for a couple of hours. And I'm not talking about blond what's his face from Fast & Furious - no, give me the brunette who played Marek any day. *drools* Maybe it was the Scottish accent. :)
How to Deal was surprisingly good considering it starred a pop star (Mandy Moore) - and also, though still fairly light hearted, a little bit darker than the previews suggested.
Tomb Raider:Cradle of Life was very good for what it was which is a lot of action built on a decent, but not great story line. Still, I love any movie where a woman kicks butt! :)
Intolerable Cruelty was cute, amusing, and had a twist or two you didn't see coming.
That's all I have time for right now. More later, hopefully.
