(no subject)

Today started out a bit rough. Burned myself on my new iron AGAIN. I've only used the thing 3 times and burned myself twice - that's not a good average! I don't know what the deal is - I never, in more than 4 years, burned myself on the old iron before it broke. Then there were a couple other little aggravations and I decided I just needed to get the heck out of the house. So I went to the rummage sale the youth at church were having and bought junk and chatted with the people from church who were there. When Rick gets home I'm gonna get the ol' speech about it's only a sale/deal if we needed it anyway. So I'm trying to come up with reasons that we absolutely NEEDED the stuff I got. :) Rob at church was helpful with coming up with some reasons so I'm feeling pretty prepared for that conversation. *laughs*

Then I stopped by the Christian Book store and picked up Thousand Foot Krutch's CD - Phenomenon. It was more than half off and I just couldn't resist! When I got home I turned on the TV to see if anything good might possibly be on. (Keep in mind I don't have cable so lots of times on the weekends there is NOTHING on) I was hoping for a decent movie. Yeah baby! Can't get much better than Wrath of Khan which is on our FOX affiliate right now! Of course, I do own it so technically I could watch it whenever I wanted to - but it was still a happy moment for me. So I'm pretty up right now. :) Hope everyone else is having a good weekend.
